I haven't posted a foodie blog in a while, the crazy part is, I have been eating out more than usual and I haven't been sharing it with you guys! SHAME ON ME! I had my eyes on this restaurant for a minute now. I found them on IG. I did not want to go until after I had Journee but, for fathers day weekend they had specials for the entire weekend. So, I thought it would be nice to take Thomas for Fathers Day. We end up going on Saturday, which was called A Baby Daddy Brunch LOL. (for those of you who don't know, the term "Baby Daddy" is normally used when you are not married ) but I thought it was funny and it was Thomas' only free day.

This place is a really nice chill place and that is why I didn't want to go until after I had my baby. It is a place where you can have a nice date night, have some really good drinks and listen to some good music. The whole vibe is really pleasant. They have outside seating, a really nice bar area and even the regular seating area is charming. The staff was very polite. Our waitress was beautiful and amusing. I really don't have any complaints.

Now to the good part THE FOOD! We went for brunch so I am not sure how their dinner is but, I can say that their brunch was really delicious. I had the Jammed Up Pancakes with a side of Eggs and a virgin Pina Colada. The glasses they use to put the drinks in are SUPER CUTE! Thomas had Nene's Etouffee which has Shrimp, Craw-fish , sausage, and grits. I was kind of jealous when I taste his plate because it was Soooooooo Good! That is what I would recommend. He also had the Grandpa Crusta. Thomas said it was good. I wish I could have tried it. But, I do not have too much longer to go. It was a really small drink, which I do not think he was expecting it to be so small, but from what he said it was small and strong.

This restaurant is located in Decatur and I would recommend that you make reservations. They have specials every night, live DJ on some nights and daily drinks and food specials. Whether you are on a date or out with the girls, you will honestly have a really good experience at this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
